The 2019 Ford Ranger

The Ford Ranger makes a triumphant return for 2019!

The 2019 Ford Ranger is a new midsize pickup ready for adventure and packed with driver-assist technologies to enable easier driving both on and off-road.

Packs a Big Punch

The new Ford Ranger is equipped with a 270-horsepower, turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine that exhibits 310 lb/ft of torque paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and either 2WD or 4WD drivetrain..

With the tow package installed, the Ranger boasts the highest max tow rating for any gas-engine small pickup at 7,500 pounds. Max payloads are 1,860 pounds for a SuperCab 4x2 and 1,770 pounds for a SuperCrew 4x2.

The 4-cylinder engine not only gives you great power, but it's also light on the wallet. The Ranger gets 26 mpg mixed, beating out its competitors in the gasoline mid-size pickup segment.

Built Ford Tough

The new Ranger is built to the same unparalleled standards as their flagship F-150 series.
  • Fully boxed high-strength steel frame
  • Frame-mounted front and rear steel bumpers
  • Double-wishbone suspension, monotube shocks
  • Parabolic rear leaf springs
  • Designed, engineered and tested to F-150 standards
  • Advanced driver-assist and connectivity technologies.

Powerful Technology and Safety Features

The Ford Ranger is packed with all the technology that you would expect from Ford. Starting with an 8-inch touch screen for available SYNC® 3, while a single or dual LCD productivity screen is available for real-time vehicle, navigation and audio information.

The Ranger also has standard Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking. A Lane-Keeping System is standard on the XLT and Lariat, which includes lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, reverse sensing and class-exclusive Blind Spot Information System with trailer coverage.
